Falling in love... with DG

I love David Gregory.

Picture it: teeny-bopper Hillary Duff is singing (lip-syncing?) her latest "hit" for the middle-school crowd... camera shots of little girls singing along (ah, it almost makes me re-live my NKOTB days)... then the camera switches to a shot of DG...

and he's swaying, eyes-closed, hands in the air (somebody please get this man a lighter) -- just like every other 13 y.o. girl in the crowd.

Next time we see him, he's trying to get Katie to dance with him to this crappy excuse for music.

Who would have thought a WH correspondent could be so fun-loving?

Matt, get home safe from Baghdad -- but if you need to take any more time off, DG beats the pants off of everyone else.

Also: LaDuff, what's up with the corn-row ponytail? Please...

UPDATE:
Thanks to Wonkette for finding the must-see video here

The incriminating evidence starts at about 1:48 and DG gets jiggy with Katie at 4:05

And how about when he cradled that suede-shirted manequin bust? At any moment, he might do something that's just too ridiculous. The Conan of morning TV.

Matt's back tomorrow. DG was definitely seizing his final moments of morning fame. MSNBC should start a morning show with Campbell Brown and DG and have it be more irreverent, more pop-culture. Today can be too stay-at-home-mom-ish with their thrifty bits and "she's in love with the boy" jingles. DG and Campbell could do something edgier for the post-college/pre-kids crowd.

I like the DG & CB idea, just as long as that Alexis doesn't start guest hosting!
